A qualified candidate will have extensive experience in the industry of excavation. They oversee projects in the field, provide leadership to the team, manage trade partners, and ensure successful completion of work. Operations managers coordinate budgets and deadlines, working closely with foremen to ensure timely and quality project completion.

The Foreman is the primary leader of the project and is directly accountable for the safety, performance and team development on site. They lead the project team through the entire process. This position is responsible to provide effective leadership to the team and ensure quality and timely completion.

Operators are skilled at operating excavators from mini to large class, skid steers and front-end loaders. They are efficient with the use of lasers and grade checking, and have an understanding of survey staking and blueprint/plan reading. This position requires knowledge of sewer, water and dry utilities installation, and the willingness to take direction from others.

This position is generally an initial step in the excavation industry. They work closely with operators and foremen to ensure safe and timely completion of projects. This position requires the willingness to take direction from others and the ability to perform physical labor. The use of a shovel and hand tools will be required.
